How is memory tested?
Early Alzheimer's disease is characterized by very specific disturbances in memory. These disturbances can be detected by targeted memory testing.

Evaluation of memory involves a series of computerized and paper tests that take about 1 hour to complete. The scores on these tests are compiled to provide an overall measure of your memory health.
Memory testing is a quick and easy way to see if you are showing signs of dementia. You will be provided with a report that describes the results of your tests and if you are or are not showing signs of Alzheimer's disease, as well as a recommendation to seek further medical attention and education.
